A case for the one miniature you painted best

Every collection has one: the warlord, the party’s paladin, the model you spent a month on. Characters are also the most fragile figures you own — dynamic poses, raised weapons, flowing capes, parts that were never meant to bear weight. MyMiniCase gives that figure its own case, carved to the pose.

Why characters break first

Rank-and-file figures are sculpted to be handled. Characters are sculpted to be looked at: an arm thrown back, a staff held high, a cape blown sideways. Each of those is a lever, and in a shared box or a generic slot the lever is what takes the impact.

A cavity carved from the STL surrounds the lever. The raised arm has its own recess; the cape has a wall behind it. Nothing is left hanging in open space.

Making a character case

  1. Load the character’s STLInclude any separately printed parts: several files dropped together are grouped as one model.
  2. Choose clearance and personaliseSet a painted-figure clearance, then add an engraved name or logo and, if you like, a lid window.
  3. Generate and printExport the case and lid as STL and print them on your FDM or resin printer.

Make it look like it belongs to that figure

Frequently asked questions

My character was printed in several parts. Does that work?

Yes. Drop all the part files at once and they are grouped into one model, positioned as they were exported.

Can I use my own logo on the case?

Yes. The engraving accepts text in one or two lines and PNG or JPG images, placed on any side face of the case or on the lid.

Does the STL get uploaded anywhere?

No. The case is generated inside your browser; the file never leaves your computer.
