Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the bare minimum to make MyMiniCase work — basically just your email and a license counter. Your STL files never leave your browser. For measurement we run privacy-friendly Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and only after you opt in via the cookie banner. Below is the long version with the exact list.

What we collect

When you sign up for the trial or buy Pro

• Your email address — to mail you the license key and to dedup (one trial per email).
• License metadata — the key we generate, the tier (trial / Pro Monthly / Annual / Lifetime), the activation date, the expiry, and a counter of how many cases you've generated.
• Polar customer info — when you check out, Polar.sh (our payment processor and Merchant of Record) collects whatever it needs to bill you: name, billing address, card details (which we never see), tax data, country. See Polar's privacy policy for what they do with it.

When you use the app

• Your STL stays in your browser. The case generation runs entirely in WebAssembly inside your tab. We never see your model — not when you upload it, not when you download the case, never. Drop the cable if you don't believe us; the app keeps working offline once the page is loaded.
• Server logs — when your browser calls our API (to start a trial, validate a key, increment the generation counter), Cloudflare logs the request (IP, user agent, path, timestamp). Logs are retained ~30 days then deleted.

What we don't collect

• No Mixpanel, no Segment, no third-party trackers beyond the two analytics tools described below. The only measurement we run is consent-gated Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — see the next section.
• The Meta Pixel sets advertising cookies, but only after you accept cookies via the banner — see Analytics & Cookies below for the full list. Aside from those cookies, the only other thing we store in your browser is a single mmc-license entry in localStorage holding your license key.
• No tracking pixels in emails — when you open the trial/Pro email we don't get a notification.
• Your 3D models. See above.

Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location at country level, device type). Analytics data is collected only AFTER you accept cookies via the consent banner shown on your first visit. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not sell your data. We do use the Meta Pixel for ad measurement and retargeting (consent-gated). You can decline analytics cookies at any time — declining does not affect your ability to use MyMiniCase. Google processes this data as our data processor; see Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. To withdraw consent after accepting, clear your browser's site data for myminicase.com.

We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how effective our ads are and (later) to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site (retargeting). The pixel loads ONLY after you accept cookies via the banner — it is disabled until you consent, and you can decline at any time without affecting your use of MyMiniCase. Meta processes this data as a data processor; see Meta's privacy policy.

Cookies we may set: mmc_consent_v1 (remembers your cookie choice, strictly necessary, always set), Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, only after consent), and Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, and fr if set by Meta, only after consent).

Sub-processors

Services we rely on, all bound by their own privacy commitments:

• Cloudflare — hosts the API worker, the static landing, the license database. Cloudflare privacy
• Resend — sends the trial email and the Pro welcome email. Resend privacy
• Polar.sh — payment processing and Merchant of Record (they handle billing, tax, invoices). Polar privacy

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you everything we have linked to your email.
• Export it as JSON.
• Delete it (after which we can't honour your license anymore — you'll lose Pro access).
• Correct any wrong info (e.g. typo'd email).

How long we keep things

• Active licenses — kept indefinitely so you can recover your key if you lose it. You can request deletion any time.
• Cancelled or expired licenses — kept for 90 days after expiry (in case you come back to re-subscribe), then deleted.
• Server logs — Cloudflare retains for ~30 days; we don't archive them anywhere.

Cross-border transfers

We're based in Brazil (MEI). Polar is US-based. Cloudflare and Resend serve from many regions globally. When you sign up from outside Brazil, your email + license metadata may be processed on servers in the EU or US. We don't sell or share any of it with third parties beyond the sub-processors above.

Children

MyMiniCase isn't directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that meaningfully expands what we collect, we'll email everyone with an active license at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Otherwise — typo fixes, sub-processor swaps — we just update the date at the top.
